Role Exchanger: brother-sister more fitting roles request

 It was the mid-2000s.

Ethan saw his twin sister Lily's face reflected in the trophy case: her long hair framed by a confident smile that seemed alien yet exciting. He felt a strange surge of confidence as he brushed a stray lock of hair from his eyes and walked over to the cabinet.

Meanwhile, Lila, in Ethan's thin frame, was tinkering with equipment, her fingers now slick with grease.

They were home together when a Role Exchanger arrived and swapped their bodies. It also added new things to their lives; Ethan knew what a Cheerleading routine was from his sister, but he forgot how to play and assemble a computer, which his sister had received. Those were the only things that had changed about their personalities, but officially, there was more.  
This was because Lila was generally more of a tomboy and disliked girly things, while Ethan had a slight weakness for them. They both also hid their gender preference, and after the role exchange, they retained their old orientation. This meant Ethan was now a woman who liked boys and Lila a man who preferred girls. 

And although they preferred to stay in their own bodies, you don't look a gift horse in the mouth. So they decided to go with the flow. Hours turned into months, and the siblings learned to navigate their own worlds. At the same time, they managed to stay in each other's circles of friends despite their gender transition. Lila quickly found a sweethearts among her friends, but Ethan preferred to keep things on a friendly level.

Great Shift: Still Family

 

During the Great Shift I was at a barbecue with my parents: Bryan and Rachel, my heavily pregnant sister Bethany, her boyfriend Blake Burk, her female friend Monica Hodges, and then suddenly I found myself in my sister's body, and Monica and Blake had switched with eachother.

My body was inhabited by a neighbor. My sister and parents hadn't been seen since the Great Shift, and their bodies were in comas. The leading theory is that they transferred to my sister's unborn daughters, the triplets. So in a way we are still family. Blake left after the body swap and we lost contact with him. Meanwhile Monica  stayed to help take care of me during my pregnancy, we quickly became more closer and soon we became a couple and decided to get married after the birth. The only problem we had was what to name the triplets, at first we wanted to call them by their "old names", but we didn't know who would be who and if they would remember who they were, but that's a problem for later.

Change town: City Council building to Sorority house

 The mayor of North Manly town also fell victim to the Wave with the entire city council.  They all turned into 20-year-old girls, and their wives turned into 20-year-old guys (except one who turned into an animal).  Despite this, they still tried to rule the city and did quite well.  However, they were much more interested in organizing drunk parties and as a result, the town hall became the most famous party house in the city.  And the city council itself began to be seen more as a student fraternity.  Another party was taking place after the adoption of the resolution regarding lawns, the mayor had just lost the first bet and had to take off his shirt, which he/she did with a smile.  Slightly drunk, he/she looked around to see who would be his boyfriend for the night, he/she was still in a relationship with his/her wife, but both the girls and the guys didn't mind the night's adventures at parties.

Great Shift On Turi: Brother and Sister

 In the Principality of Guzundi, Princess Typhainne has been in power for 8 years now, at least officially because the real Typhainne has not ruled since 7 years, since the Greatshift. When the event take place, younger of siblings a brother, Prince Davor and older a sister Typhainne, swap bodies. To reduce panic, Princess-Mother Magnar, who had not been touched by shift, made them to pretend that they had not changed to soothe their subjects and secure the state. They both welcomed it with moderate enthusiasm, Davor suddenly lost the freedom his position od younger sibling gave him, such as sleeping with every maid in a tavern or journey throught archipelago, now he had to take care of his sister's duties, the administration of the kingdom, parties for the nobility, and meetings with dignitaries, not to mention it that he had to walk in uncomfortable dresses all the time. In the case of Typhainne, she was given freedom that she did not have before because now her new sister took power, but the problem was that all her life she was trained and prepared to take the throne, rule and finding some nobleman from abroad for a political marriage, and now after just one year of her rule, she had to give it up. She went on adventures around the archipelago several times, met various characterscandeven slept with some girls and sometimes even guys, but all the time there was an inner voice in her that prevented her from fully enjoying it. Therefore, after a few years of traveling, she returned to the country and decided to help her new sister in governing, they even began to get used to the new situation. It was like that until their mother told them to find someone good nobles or maybe even ruler from other counto to get married, which it help they country situation. Each of them had different hesitations against this: Davor didn't even want to think about sex with anyone, especially with a man, because it would take away the remnants of his masculinity, at least according to him. Typhainne, although she still preferred to do chores rather than adventures, liked the rowdy lifestyle when it comes to relationships, and she regularly visited the city to have one night's adventures with local and foreign ladies, and sometimes even gentlemen, and did not think about being in marriage with only one person for all life.
